Pam's career in Pharmacy began in community where she worked as a disensing and counter assistant. She moved into hospital pharmacy in 2003 and qualified as a Pharmacy Technician with Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in 2006.
Pam has progressed from a rotational Pharmacy Technician to Senior Medicines Management Technician in GI Surgery. She is an Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician and also holds the A1 NVQ Assessors Award. This is what led her to pursue a career within Education and Development and she has recently completed a Diploma in Education and Training.
Pam is the Chief Pharmacy Technician for Education and Training at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, where she manages and trains Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians, oversees the development of Pharmacy Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians and Pre-Registration Pharmacists programme within the trust.
