Health Education England (HEE) is inviting over 11,500 community pharmacies to participate in the first ever national survey looking at training and development needs across the community pharmacy sector workforce.
The Community Pharmacies Workforce Survey is designed to inform the commissioning of clinical education and development for community pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and the wider team.
Our President Tess Fenn encourages all community technician to engage with this survey: "this is an excellent opportunity for pharmacy professionals to share their experience of training and working in independent community pharmacies to inform HEE's future plans. It is important that HEE gain this information to ensure training and education gaps are identified and that future commissioning will enable pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to be developed with appropriate skills and experience to deliver patient centred care when and where this is needed. We urge all community pharmacy technicians to complete this important survey"
