Opportunity to attend an online PGD workshop to support your practice
CPPE has launched an online workshop, PGDs: Empowering pharmacy technicians to provide services, designed to help pharmacy technicians apply their skills and knowledge confidently and competently when using patient group directions (PGDs) to deliver NHS services.
At this event, participants will:
- Practise consultation scenarios with peers to build confidence in supplying medicines using PGDs
- Explore challenges and practical solutions when providing services using PGDs, using the NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service and Smoking Cessation Service as examples
- Reflect on readiness to expand their role and support improved access to services to benefit patients and organisations
