Date: Thursday 15 October 2026
Time: 7:30pm–8:30pm
Primary audience: Pre-registration trainee pharmacy technicians (PTPTs) approaching the end of their training and preparing to apply for GPhC registration for the first time
Access: Open to APTUK members and non-members
Nearly completed your pharmacy technician training and wondering how to take the final step onto the register?
Join APTUK and the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) for a practical, interactive webinar designed primarily for PTPTs approaching the end of their training. GPhC colleagues will guide you through the first-time registration journey, including what to expect, when to prepare and how to avoid common application pitfalls.
APTUK will facilitate the session, bringing your questions and experiences into the discussion. Test your knowledge through quick polls and myth-busting questions, explore realistic registration scenarios and put your questions directly to the GPhC presenters.
By the end of the session, PTPTs will be better able to:
• understand the key steps and requirements for applying to join the GPhC register for the first time
• identify what to prepare before completing an application
