You are invited to attend the Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK (APTUK) 10-year registration anniversary celebration event.

Join us at 7pm on Thursday 1st July 2021 to mark the occasion and hear from a range of speakers who will share their reflections and thoughts on the next 10 years.

The virtual event will provide a showcase for roles that are being undertaken by pharmacy technicians and we will hear from future registrants about what attracted them to join the profession and their hopes for the future.

We will also hear from

  • Duncan Rudkin, Chief Executive & Registrar, General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Dr Keith Ridge, CBE Chief Pharmaceutical Officer, England
  • Alison Strath, Interim Chief Pharmaceutical Officer, Scotland
  • Each will share their reflections and thoughts about the opportunities for the profession in the next 10 years.

So please, spread the word as the event is open to members, with a limited number of tickets for non- members. It is a fantastic opportunity to share with colleagues to raise the profile of the profession.

We will also be sharing photos of pharmacy technicians in action, so please do submit your photos (or those of your colleagues, with permission of course!) as a tribute to the diversity of what the profession does.

We are sad, we are unable to run a face-to-face event and celebrate in the traditional way that the profession is renowned for but we encourage you to log on and join us as we take to a virtual platform to celebrate in the best way we can.

We hope that you will join and feel the sense of pride and celebration for our wonderful profession that we here at APTUK do.
