For pharmacists and pharmacy technicians Midlands and East of England
26 September 2022
Health Education England (HEE) has commissioned NHS Arden & GEM Commissioning Support Unit (Arden & GEM) to carry out a pilot study to investigate the experiences, observations, and insights of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, their employers and training providers with respect to the development and career progression of these professions across community pharmacy, primary care and secondary care (including mental health Trusts). This pilot will be conducted in the Midlands and East of England NHS regions.
As part of this pilot, HEE is asking registered pharmacists and pharmacy technicians at any point in their career, along with their employers and/or line managers, and training providers to complete an online survey. The survey is intended to capture personal views and experiences of pharmacy professionals’ career pathways and access to training and development. The completion of this survey will contribute to the pilot study, which is intended to inform future investment decisions – with a view to ensuring that any education commissioning is relevant to identified workforce need across sectors.
If you reside or work in the Midlands and East of England, please follow this survey link to provide your feedback.
The survey will run from 23rd September to 21st October and will take 15 minutes to complete.
A survey for training providers will follow shortly.
