The UK Commission is inviting all pharmacy professional colleagues and stakeholders across the UK to join thematic webinars in October and November to hear the results of the Call for Evidence and enable you to meet the working group Chairs and Deputy Chairs, interact with working group members and input to the deliberations of the working groups. The working groups will each meet twice by mid-November.
The webinars are:

As well as encouraging individuals to respond to the call for evidence survey, APTUK also asked for member feedback to an organisation response. Thank you to everyone who provided input.

The findings of the Call for Evidence will inform the Commission’s work as it develops recommendations for the future of pharmacy professional leadership in the UK.
The Commission will look at five key themes:
- Leadership, policy and professionalism
- Regulatory support
- Professional education and training
- Regional, country and international relations and engagement
- Scope of practice of future pharmacy professionals.
The Commission is co-chaired by Nigel Clarke, Former Chair of the General Pharmaceutical Council, and Professor Dame Jane Dacre, Professor of Medical Education at University College London Medical School.
Nigel said: “The Commission will shape the future of pharmacy professional leadership in the UK and the Call for Evidence is a crucial opportunity for people to influence that work”.
